Spiritual Revival Sweeps Through Texas A&M Corpus Christi Campus
In a wave of spiritual fervor, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has become the latest campus to experience a profound revival, echoing the transformative movements seen at universities like Asbury and Auburn. Over a thousand students gathered for a recent event hosted by New Life Young Adults, where the message of the gospel resonated deeply, leading to an impactful evening.

Pastor Michael Fehlauer of New Life Church shared, “Nearly 1500 students last night at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi… 62 water baptisms… Powerful testimonies… Many physically healed and delivered! Jesus is Lord….. and He is coming back.” The event was not only about hearing the word but experiencing a personal encounter with God, characterized by conviction, cleansing, and commissioning.
This revival is part of an ongoing series of events. Since February 2023, New Life Young Adults has been documenting the transformative power of these gatherings, with baptisms occurring in campus fountains, symbolizing a public declaration of faith. The momentum carried into September 2023, showing no signs of abating, with hundreds more baptized.
Tarik Whitmore, Young Adult Pastor at New Life, highlighted to CBN News the emergence of a bold, faith-driven movement among college students, where those newly saved are actively spreading the gospel within their student community.
This resurgence of faith isn’t isolated to Corpus Christi. Ohio State University has also seen its football team members leading a revival, further indicating a broader spiritual awakening among the youth.
